A day without laughter is a sad day indeed but for many of us it can become the 'norm', especially when we feel insecure...
Flown the coup
Out on a limb
Rabbit in the headlights
Starting over
Making way for change......
All of the above enlist the push and pull, the tug of war in avoidance tactics, come what may, of feelings of vulnerability connecting with us head on. Road blocking our way with fears of.....what if, why, but, maybe, could be, might, ought, should...etc. Setting us up for a sudden u turn, hand braking us into our comfort zone.
The wardrobe mirror chats you up....listen.....drag out that outfit calling to you, can you hear it...? At the back of the closet it awaits, left hanging there in limbo from its debut day of purchase, reminding you of its existence. A purchase you thought was you....until someone commented otherwise, bursting your bubble with doubt....was it a wrong move? Still there....sitting pretty....biding time until your hearing improves, extending your arm to reach and pluck it from the hanger. Slip it over your skin, skimming gently...how does it feel to abandon the uncertainty and believe your inner voice, pushing the choice button to wear your choose mood on your sleeve.

And so with a head full of chit chat, jabbering on and on, is it any wonder there's no room to hear what's actually going on, your 'head space' is rammed full and has won the day. The here and now is outta the window. How would you feel to look up, pack yourself away and take in the surroundings, connect with what you see, hear, feel, touch, hold, want and need. Know how it feels by taking time to feel it, hold it close so you can smell the aroma training you to recognise it and shake hands with it next time around.
Peace and quiet for one second
Inner screaming ceased
Hung out to dry in the lush green field
Billowing away on the wind
Leave the breeze to deal it a blast
Refreshing and cooling the tangle
Fluttering with release
Yet with wise tethering
Now is the time
Endearingly so
To make good with magnificence
Prizing with our eyes
...............................
When the light goes out
Wait a while
Your eyes will adjust
To see in the dark.
Keep going with life............
