Climbing up the tree of life I spied
An evergreen and delighted in such
Lush foliage. How lucky to be wearing
A coat of green never losing its leafy
Intimacy. A sense of belonging, its
Green flags rustling in the breeze
Holding tight to one another throughout
The winter deluge, Spring edging,holding
Its head up high and you begin to compete
With your next door neighbour who has
Stood barren and now is brazenly flaunting
Switch.....encourage the vines to blossom
Fully flouting and dancing the Summer song
Lest they whisper to one another with their
'In talk' leaving you to your high handed ways
So get down with the crowd, conduct Autumn's
Mulching mosh pit, it is where you'll fit
We can all find our niche......
begin.......
