A warm hello to each and every one of you....

For those that are trying to find inspiration. and coming up with zilch....

Take your pad and pen, find a space both mentally and physically. What's going on right now?? Looking around....what do you see??? If it's still hard write down exactly what's in your head.....

The pad and pen lay dormant

To my right side

My hands resting in my lap

I'd tried holding the pen to the paper

Nothing....pure nothing

My head is crowded with thoughts

Yet releasing it is an instrument I can't play

.......and so you've begun maybe without realising it by just writing what's in your head.

I've had this blog in mind for a long time before setting it into 'start' mode.....click for go. I want to share the pure delight of words how they can be of substance at any time in our lives not just at times of woe.

I sat in fairly close proximity

They were there displaying their vocal chords

With the volume on high

I couldn't help but tune into their banter

It blindfolded my thoughts

Drowning out the music that played incessantly

Their crackpot wise cracks...

Some really quite funny

Echo the room rebounding back searching out my ears

I wonder...are they unaware

Or displaying their narcissistic edge

For all to hear

I try to butt out averting my eyes

Rigidly to the page before me

Raucous laughter permeates

I find myself laughing inside

At their freedom of self

Pure enjoyment in the moment

Their merriment true and real

Tangible and aromatic

Observation fuelled my inspiration...... 'people watching'.... can be a well of opportunity to free us from our own shackles and transporting us to somewhere yet to be found, an untapped pool to delve into.

Come on folks......have a go.
