Time has rolled right on by and found itself with Thursday burgeoning and once more my working week is nearly at an end. How quick does daylight break through, pooling towards sunset and bleary eyed from the day stumbles into twilight while nightfall tugs at its heels, bringing down the curtain on the production of the day's live performance.
However, before we rush on by into Friday let's capture some moments if we dare to spare the time, pondering and musing the whys and wherefores of our lives.
Ponder your thoughts
Arrange a floor mountain
One at a time tracing their outline
Enticing them from their home comforts
Peruse their effectiveness
And if it fits
Leave them for the recycling
To be reused as fresh ideas
A positive turn round
From minds eye to anothers mindset
Stimulate the transference
We had a brief break in the monsoon conditions but rain has ruled and run amok dragging the clouds across the sky painting it grey and relieving itself of its liquid lunch.
Push those rainy day blues into the melting pot
Paint the sky bluer than you've ever know it
Run soft cotton wool clouds through your fingertips
Cradling your mind with hazy lazy days of splendour
Wash the rain down into the rivers and seas
Of an imaginative summer day....
The year of '76
If you didn't live it, look it up
And deploy it when you feel the rainy day blues suffocate
Not to say we should ignore our rainy days, they made need attention if there is serious sustinence required; but if they swamp us until we begin to drown, a leg up comes in handy in the form of an imaginative summer day to pull us up sharp and show us the other fork in the road.
Speak to you all again...soon.
